Infinity is organized around a monumental figure eight that fills the face of an imagined banknote. Its left loop glows in oranges, reds and earthen browns, while the right loop turns through silver, cyan and deep blue, creating two distinct worlds joined by a single continuous path.
Along that path, small images trace an expansive history of existence: cells and shells, human evolution, DNA, scientific diagrams, currency signs, planets, machines and views of Earth. Concentric targets occupy the centers of both loops, and folded botanical forms bind the composition together above and below.
The warm and cool halves suggest nature and technology, origin and destination, or inner life and outer space. Because neither side has a true beginning or end, progress appears less like a straight ascent than an endless circulation in which knowledge, life and value repeatedly transform one another.
